The Academic Success Centre has various FREE tutors and resources available to help you succeed, study smarter, and get things done faster.
There’s nothing worse than being stuck on a paper, or having perhaps procrastinated a wee bit too long, and now have a massive deadline to make. Well, these are the folks that can help you find your way through the various obstacles.
These are the following FREE resources available to every student at Langara:
- Subject tutoring – Accounting, Apps/Brightspace, Biology, Chemistry, Economics, Health Sciences, Math, Stats, and much more!
- Writing help for ALL written and presentation assignments
- Research help – are you new to post-secondary essays and research papers? They’re very different from high-school. These lovely people can help you wade your way through Chicago, MLA, APA and other styles that are a MUST KNOW for college/university.
- IT Help – there is a kiosk for help with internet, email, phone, printing, AV and much more.
- Virtual Learning – Yes, we have help for online students as well. Everyone has different styles of learning and online learning isn’t easy.
